Every time I bake sweet cupcakes, I tell myself that I should try myself on a savoury version. This is what I did recently. After filling my basket (and perhaps too much) of fruits and vegetables at the market, I had plenty of choices to fill some paper cups with a tasty preparation. Considering summer is now here, there's no question to leave any colour behind. You have to remain festive whatever the circumstances.

The icing on the cake, litterally
Here is finally the end of Easter recipes. The day is far away now, but fortunately this is not a sufficient reason not to try a recipe. Especially since it can be easily adapted to every day. Just change the icing. After making my biscuits, I found that the ensemble was missing some chocolate. Not that I would always respect the rules, but if there's one day to eat chocolate, then Easter is (and after as well, because you need to empty the stock). What I propose today is just to fill your little cupcakes with one or two chocolates for a melting and fragrant heart.

"From 7 to 77 year-old people" cupcakes
Message from January, 7th :
One of the first cookbooks I ever bought was Gâteaux simplissimes (Over-simple cakes) by Marabout. This is probably the one I used most. The damage of its binding can prove it. That day I prepared a small snack before I went to the cinema with my family, I found the idea in one of the recipes I had marked with a big heart. It was one of my options for Christmas, but in the end it seemed best for teatime rather than with champagne. These muffins are stuffed with apples and custard. The combination may seem surprising, but the result is very sweet and nice to see as much as to chew and swallow... Fortunately, there were a few people at home to eat them straightaway.

Black Forest cupcakes
message for Christmas of 2009 :
When I prepared the first recipe of cupcakes for Christmas - the craters dates, you know - I realized that if I followed the book for all the quantities of the others cupcakes, I'd find myself with a hundred small cakes to eat. If they were biscuits it would be all right, but they're definitely not... The two recipes that I give here are complete and correspond to a dozen muffins or thirty cupcakes. In both cases, they were eaten quite fast.

Yummy apocalyptic craters
message for Christmas of 2009 :
I decided to make the dessert for Christmas this year and wanted to offer festive cupcakes with a taste of winter. Rummaging through my recipes and all websites, I came across one by Lisa who proposed, among her dozens of incredible dishes, "the one said to be the preferred cake of Queen Elizabeth. And although it was never proved, this unusual detail began to turn the "yum-yum" machine in my head and I wanted to know if it could be true.
