Childhoods


A few months ago, I finally completed a family project. Having found a load of 8mm reels from the 60's, I decided to create short films with musical background. There are different themes, such as the new school year, summer by the ocean, etc.. For each of these parts I painted very colorful titles, describing the themes in a rather dreamlike atmosphere. There is almost no color related to the real world, an idea that came after a session of drawing with my young cousin. Here are some shots taken from titles made for these films.

Sticks and Stones


Tuesday my day felt very quiet. But inside I was still singing! screaming! whistling! jumping! clapping on tune and smiling! My whole being was smiling. That day, I woke up with “Stars in Still Water” in my head. Now it’s “Sticks and Stones”. Even three days after Jònsi's concert at the Bataclan in Paris, I still breathe a feverish air.

Making : Kiss Is A Knife


A few months ago, I started working on an animation. It was a clip for Kiss Is A Knife, a song rather crazy, written and performed by Marcus Foster. I had a brief opportunity to meet him early February and hoped to finish my project quickly. But two weeks later, I was flying toward Birmingham. I always kept the project in mind, I still do, but the life changing has somewhat slowed the process.
